Generation method

Random values use the browser cryptography API. QR output is encoded directly into a canvas, while password and number settings define the available search space or numeric range.

Generated identifiers and codes should be tested in their destination workflow. A random value does not by itself provide account security, uniqueness guarantees, or a durable redirect service.

Which error-correction level should I choose?

Medium is a balanced default. Higher levels tolerate more damage or decoration but create a denser code for the same content.

Do QR codes expire?

A static QR code does not expire. The destination can stop working if the encoded URL is changed, removed, or depends on a third-party redirect.
