Each calculator exposes the quantities, units, factors, and assumptions used to produce its result. Mixed units are normalized before calculation, and repeated rows are totaled before capacity comparisons.
Recipe, pacing, travel, energy, electrical, and HVAC results are planning aids. Actual cooking, performance, prices, equipment duty cycles, codes, building loads, and site conditions require context beyond the entered values.
Questions
Trip Cost Calculator FAQ
How is fuel used calculated?
For MPG, distance is divided by miles per gallon. For L/100 km, kilometers are multiplied by consumption and divided by 100.
Does the estimate include changing fuel economy?
No. Traffic, speed, weather, load, terrain, detours, idling, and vehicle condition can change actual consumption.
